Who we are
This website is operated by Hiturica Systems S.R.L., which operates under the HIT Systems brand, a company registered in Romania with fiscal code (CUI) RO43880324 and Trade Register number J2021000727083, with its registered office at Str. Carpaților 93, bl. 17, ap. 102, 500269 Brașov, Romania. Hiturica Systems S.R.L. is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
For any question about your data, write to contact@hitsystems.dev.
Data we collect
When you use the contact form. We receive your name, email address, company name if you give it, the type of work you are interested in and your message. We use this to reply to you, to prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to manage the contract.
When you email us or message us on LinkedIn. We receive your name, your email address or profile, the content of your message and anything else you choose to include, and use it for the same purposes.
Spam protection. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, to tell people apart from automated spam. In most cases this happens in the background without any action from you.
Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are visited, which countries visitors come from and how fast the pages load. It does not use cookies, does not store data on your device and does not track you across websites. We only see totals, never individual visitors.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, so there is no cookie banner on this site. Our hosting and spam protection provider may use strictly necessary technical storage to protect the site and the contact form from abuse. This storage does not require consent under EU law.
Legal basis
- Replying to enquiries and preparing proposals: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Performing a contract with you: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Keeping accounting and tax records: our legal obligations under Romanian law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Spam protection, visit statistics and technical data: our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how it is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who processes the data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website, provides Turnstile spam protection and Web Analytics, and forwards email sent to our domain.
- Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google provides the email service we use to receive and answer messages.
- LinkedIn processes messages you send us on its platform, under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted within two years of our last exchange. Data related to a contract is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the period required by Romanian accounting and tax law. Technical logs and statistics are kept by our providers for a limited period under their own retention rules.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to us at the address above and we will answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), at www.dataprotection.ro, or with the authority in the EU country where you live.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
